With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Furlan in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Trigo saved Barrenta SC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Furlan in the 6th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Edgar Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulryk Pietras scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Furlan in the 12th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Edgar Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Walmyr Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Furlan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Trigo having to make a save. Momentum FC's Felix Beat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Carioca in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ulryk Pietras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Trigo was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Hugo Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hugo Gerber hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ismael Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Trigo was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Cido Miranda. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Furlan in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Momentum FC's Felix Beat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute of the match, Hugo Gerber got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Beat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 36 minutes of play, Barrenta SC's Walmyr Lira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Beat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Ismael Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Momentum FC's Felix Beat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ulryk Pietras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulryk Pietras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney Carioca to make the kick off. The Momentum FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Momentum FC's Ismael Furlan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgar Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Brüggemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Edgar Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Luiz Fábio Lima replaced Thomás Braga. After a rather tough play, Momentum FC's Prudencio Lorenz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo got control of the ball when Kai Brüggemann tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Lima came free, but Felix Beat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Barrenta SC's Luiz Fábio Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Beat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. 90 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Azevedo came free, but Felix Beat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Beat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Lira in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Momentum FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
