Moorefield AFC's Winford Bowden was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Folke Hybbert in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Val Lowery came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Moorefield AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Val Lowery couldn't finish the play. Sven-Oskar Låsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Freddie Daniel made a huge save. If Joacim Låsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BK Gubbhöft's Folke Hybbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Nunez in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to BK Gubbhöft getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Christer Lindqvist hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Oskar Låsberg was the one to do the kick off. The Moorefield AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddie Daniel should have stopped the shot. Ulf Andreasson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Freddie Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Gubbhöft.
