Iván Villafane took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised James Madison. James Madison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 5th minute, Cuatrodeocho's Marco-Antonio Landa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind James Madison. James Madison yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Horea Băieșu lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated James Madison. Michael Tobias hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. James Madison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Villafane in the 23rd minute of the match. James Madison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco-Antonio Landa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobby De Maerschalck to maneuver through the defense. Horea Băieșus short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got James Madison to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Les Presidents FC booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Moldoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Mario Benitez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. James Madison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Băieșu in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Les Presidents FC defense, José Planes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of James Madison. The Les Presidents FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that James Madison should have stopped the shot. Horea Băieșu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. James Madison came out and tried to block the shot, but Horea Băieșu slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Horea Băieșu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Cuatrodeocho's Iván Villafane made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. James Madison was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 56 played minutes Les Presidents FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Barbosa. In the 57th minute Horea Băieșu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Madison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sergio Van den Inde fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Presidents FC's protests and gave Sergio Van den Inde a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Les Presidents FC's Sergio Van den Inde got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Iván Villafane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of James Madison. Les Presidents FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iván Villafane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Les Presidents FC's James Madison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Villafane in the 67th minute of play. James Madison didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iván Villafane went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-1 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the game, Cuatrodeocho's Iván Villafane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. James Madison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-1. When Cuatrodeocho's Horea Băieșu in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Les Presidents FC's goalie prevented a goal. James Madison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco-Antonio Landa in the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Cuatrodeocho's José Planes made it 16-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. James Madison was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, José Planes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuatrodeocho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cuatrodeocho had played much better football throughout.
