Tadeusz Cielencki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tadeusz Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Wassberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Kjellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tadeusz Cielencki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Tadeusz Cielencki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Wassberg in the 16th minute of play. Tadeusz Cielencki was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Vallin came free, but Tadeusz Cielencki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeusz Cielencki came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by MAFFIAN's George Svensson. But to his dismay, George Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 37 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by George Svensson. Gunde Svan scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeusz Cielencki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Ksawery Zatorski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAFFIAN the free kick. Arsenal:s Tadeusz Cielencki showed great skill when he stopped Thomas Wassberg:s penalty. After some careless play in the Arsenal defense, Alex Vallin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeusz Cielencki. The Arsenal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeusz Cielencki should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Wladyslaw Lampa fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal's protests and gave Wladyslaw Lampa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Arsenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Lampa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goalkeeper Tadeusz Cielencki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Wassberg. Tadeusz Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Vallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Dennis Edström replaced George Svensson. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Tadeusz Cielencki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arsenal's Tadeusz Cielencki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal from getting a goal against them. Gunde Svan scored 0-7 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeusz Cielencki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torgny Mogren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Tadeusz Cielencki made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunde Svan in the 72nd minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Tadeusz Cielencki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goalkeeper Tadeusz Cielencki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristoffer Nyberg. In the 77th minute Alex Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Cielencki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes, Kryspin Rutecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal and the MAFFIAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Rutecki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunde Svan in the 90th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Tadeusz Cielencki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over MAFFIAN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arsenal throughout the match.
