Carlos Eduardo Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Norino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jarbas Pombal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Austin was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Bermudez came free, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Prudencio Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reconquistense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Raulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Anacleto Norino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Eduardo Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Norino in the 26th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Lino Madeo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Eduardo Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Prudencio Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Gustavo Ferran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Madeo in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Reko-Recko 03™'s Amílton do Valle seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amílton do Valle the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Reko-Recko 03™ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amílton do Valle had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 37 minutes into the game, one of Reko-Recko 03™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute, Lino Madeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Eduardo Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Carlos Eduardo Donatello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Madeo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Madeo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Zé Augusto Moura got a free kick in the 51st minute. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Madeo in the 52nd minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Bermudez in the 54th minute. Reconquistense FC made a substitution. Iker Ugutz replaced Prudencio Raulo. Odd Van made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Reconquistense FC's Fabian Bermudez. 85 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Donatello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Madeo. After 85 minutes, Lino Madeo made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Eduardo Donatello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Fabian Bermudez came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Reconquistense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Bermudez couldn't finish the play.
