In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's goalkeeper Trần Cong Vinh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Giro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes in the game, Fabian Bermudez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Trần Cong Vinh having to interfere. Reconquistense FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
