Allan Ingemarsson scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Cong Vinh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 8 played minutes Brödraskapets Församling got a freekick which was hit by Göran Njurenius. Edgar Lundström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimeno Donostia's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Carlos Giro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Edgar Lundström made a huge save. Zé Paulo Hermes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's goal looked a bit too open when Özen Kılınç came free, but Trần Cong Vinh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Lundström came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Zé Paulo Hermes. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 27th minute, Carlos Giro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Trần Cong Vinh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Giliusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 陆崇雄 to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Brödraskapets Församling's Allan Ingemarsson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Ingemarsson in the 44th minute of play forced FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's goalkeeper Trần Cong Vinh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Göran Njurenius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brödraskapets Församling and the FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Brödraskapets Församling got a freekick which was hit by Göran Njurenius. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özen Kılınç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes of play, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Jimeno Donostia made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Lundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Carlos Giro got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 김 최 during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Brödraskapets Församling booed when FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 최 didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Trần Cong Vinh got control of the ball when Özen Kılınç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Donostia in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Lundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Brödraskapets Församling's Viktor Botvidsson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jimeno Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Giro in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brödraskapets Församling's Filiph Bergqvist got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Edoardo Giannetta got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Carlos Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Giro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Lundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trần Cong Vinh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Ingemarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Giro in the 93rd minute of play forced Brödraskapets Församling's goalkeeper Edgar Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Lundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Giro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
