Yalapa's attentive Jesus Galo managed to snatch the ball when Cipriano Darien made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Eudoxio came free, but Nahuel Losada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Cleto Dacio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jesus Galo in the 62 minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Nahuel Losada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Gaston. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta hit a great ball.
