In the 18th minute, Luís Fabiano Artime got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Blåvitt getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fredrik Stålberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Blåvitt's Herman Kihlberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Ivan Drago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Smitt in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nahuel Losada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Luís Fabiano Artime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Holm in the 29th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Nahuel Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ove Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Holm in the 37th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Nahuel Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Elizardo's late challenge caught a FC Blåvitt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Elizardo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Blåvitt booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Blåvitt's Thomas Hammarberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nahuel Losada but with some difficulty. Hampus Söderström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fabiano Artime went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The FC Blåvitt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Artime to make the kick off. Silverio Froylan got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cipriano Darien. Alejo Elizardo was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Bergstedt in the 54th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Nahuel Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match FC Blåvitt got a corner. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Hammarberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hampus Söderström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Smitt came free, but Nahuel Losada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Smitt in the 73rd minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Nahuel Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Söderström having to interfere. Nahuel Losada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Smitt in the 87th minute of the match. If Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
