Leon Lizbeth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Vasconcelos in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Valencia Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Vasconcelos came free, but Leon Lizbeth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valencia Santa Fe's Vladimiro Nicholas got a free kick in the 8th minute. Leon Lizbeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Vasconcelos in the 9th minute of the match. MZ Fénix's Américo Vasconcelos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leon Lizbeth in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Silvério Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Valencia Santa Fe's Thierry Correia got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Vasconcelos in the 19th minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Leon Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Queirós struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Leon Lizbeth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. Leon Lizbeth came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Silvério Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Silvério Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Valencia Santa Fe's Leon Lizbeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Queirós in the 28th minute of play. Diego Amor was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Valencia Santa Fe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MZ Fénix:s goal. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for MZ Fénix. Josué Câmara stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leon Lizbeth. 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Silvério Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Lizbeth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thierry Correia hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvério Vasconcelos in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Lizbeth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40thth minute of the game Silvério Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valencia Santa Fe's Leon Lizbeth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valencia Santa Fe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Américo Vasconcelos was slow to take the kick. During this time MZ Fénix's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Américo Vasconcelos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Valencia Santa Fe's Leon Lizbeth did a great save. Leon Lizbeth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvério Vasconcelos went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Silvério Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Leon Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Matxin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Leon Lizbeth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Rego. When Josué Câmara fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Fénix's protests and gave Josué Câmara a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Josué Câmara. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Leon Lizbeth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leon Lizbeth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvério Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Belchior Miranda was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Leon Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvério Vasconcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Lizbeth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvério Vasconcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolas Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valencia Santa Fe's Leon Lizbeth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Valencia Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Vasconcelos in the 70th minute of play forced Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Leon Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Silvério Vasconcelos took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Leon Lizbeth to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Leon Lizbeth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvério Vasconcelos went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. The Valencia Santa Fe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MZ Fénix were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
