The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Denis Blasco kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB booed when Academia de Campeones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academia de Campeones's Ove Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Manilan in the 8th minute of play. The corner ended in Juan Barros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Hugo Cedro did a great save. Ove Glanselius came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Amador Gabrio. But to his dismay, Amador Gabrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 39th minute, Anacleto Sobera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Glanselius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Anacleto Sobera took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Glanselius. Ove Glanselius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

A collision led to Academia de Campeones getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Luciano Ospetsu hit a great ball. Roque Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai Havertz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hugo Cedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Astor Manilan. A collision led to Academia de Campeones getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Manilan got free with Ove Glanselius in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Anacleto Sobera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ove Glanselius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the match ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB got a corner. Academia de Campeones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Abastas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Victor Abastas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ove Glanselius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Victor Abastas's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ove Glanselius on his right side and into the goal. 75 minutes into the game it was 0-4. 85 minutes into the match, Academia de Campeones's Luciano Ospetsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Cedro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Academia de Campeones's Luciano Ospetsu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Academia de Campeones fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
