CF JABATOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Ovando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The coaching staff of CF JABATOS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Enrique Thomas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in CF JABATOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Sportivo Ben Hur's Gavino Vela got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Serafin Dominguez. Serafin Dominguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Tancredo in the 22nd minute. Abelardo Cristofor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sportivo Ben Hur fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Sportivo Ben Hur's Fabricio Martxot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. CF JABATOS's Serafin Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Maxin in the 86th minute of play.
