The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Albaret got free with Gustaf Rudberg in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KD Stiger's Gustaf Rudberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save KD Stiger from getting a goal against them. SILMONT's Di Xing Ying played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Danielsson in the 16th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Albaret kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustaf Rudberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. The SILMONT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Thomas Albaret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KD Stiger's zone, Thomas Albaret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Rudberg came out of the goal and Thomas Albaret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaf Rudberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Albaret's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Javier Bordat scored 4-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaf Rudberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Bordat in the 91st minute of play forced KD Stiger's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KD Stiger's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
