Dênis de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Skaradowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Cafu de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Slawomir Cholewa managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Three Lions FC's George Kroos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Piotr Osikowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dênis de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piotr Osikowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Tyskie in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Kléber Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Cholewa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Teofil Tyskie made a precise shot to the right of Dênis de Castro. Three Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Cafu de Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Three Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astral the free kick. The supporters of Astral booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Skaradowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astral's Borys Skaradowski got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Three Lions FC were furious when Giuseppe Sena was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Three Lions FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Astral:s goal. Dênis de Castro had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Waclaw Tylinski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Astral's Teofil Tyskie made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dênis de Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Astral were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléber Cerezo made a kick off. Kléber Cerezo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Jeferson Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Slawomir Cholewa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slawomir Cholewa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu de Moraes in the 60th minute of the match. Dênis de Castro was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Teofil Tyskie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teofil Tyskie really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Dênis de Castro made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Teofil Tyskie sent off a good shot on target. Teofil Tyskie took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis de Castro. Dênis de Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 72 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by George Pavard. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Teofil Tyskie took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Dênis de Castro to make any attempt to save it. Three Lions FC's Dênis de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Cymbal in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbigniew Cymbal in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by George Kimmich. Three Lions FC's Dênis de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Three Lions FC from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Teofil Tyskie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astral's Slawomir Cholewa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Cerezo in the 90th minute of play. Teofil Tyskie took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis de Castro. Dênis de Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Astral played a much better game than Three Lions FC and deserved their victory. The Three Lions FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
