Homero Sacramento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 余永川, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes SITIO CITY got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Fonseca. In the 14th minute Carlos Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Bufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SITIO CITY's Homero Sacramento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Ferman in the 17th minute of play. 余永川 took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Homero Sacramento. Homero Sacramento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When 余永川 came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 余永川 couldn't finish the play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Pierre-Paul Swin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arthur Bufi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute 余永川 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homero Sacramento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Homero Sacramento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 余永川, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Arthur Bufi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Homero Sacramento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余永川 in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Ye Hong Shi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd play minute Luís Carvalho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arthur Bufi. 2-1.

Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Cristi Saron was substituted for Olavo Quadros. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gwidon Cwojdak made a kick off. Heitor Fonseca lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SITIO CITY! Homero Sacramento made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when 余永川 sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when SITIO CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Homero Sacramento was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ye Hong Shi. Carlos Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Arthur Bufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Gwidon Cwojdak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homero Sacramento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Bufi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Thanks to some nice moves 余永川 could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Homero Sacramento however easily saved by the left post. Homero Sacramento made an important save on a dangerous shot by 余永川 in the 86th minute. Homero Sacramento was a little too slow when 余永川 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 3-2. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Pedro Paulo Dante got a free kick in the 91st minute. Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Carvalhal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
