The referee showed Algitas Mažeikis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 17 minutes into the game, one of Savage Hippo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Sant Bartolomeu FC. Epicuro Doblas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Naglis Jonušas. 0-2. In the 28th minute, Savage Hippo's Dangiras Rutkus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredas Klenkys got free with Derwin Alcalde in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Dangiras Rutkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derwin Alcalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaclovas Jacinaitis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Derwin Alcalde made a huge save. A collision led to Sant Bartolomeu FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Felipo Sevilla hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sant Bartolomeu FC's Derwin Alcalde got control of the ball when Alfredas Klenkys tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sant Bartolomeu FC's Derwin Alcalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jotautas Bakštys in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jotautas Bakštys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derwin Alcalde was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the game, Deividas Laužikas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Derwin Alcalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredas Klenkys in the 86th minute of play. Derwin Alcalde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredas Klenkys in the 87th minute of the match. Derwin Alcalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaclovas Jacinaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luar Rapado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Naglis Jonušas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naglis Jonušas made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Bero Montaña sent off a good shot on target. Derwin Alcalde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaclovas Jacinaitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sant Bartolomeu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
