An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Gabrio in the 7th minute of play forced Sant Bartolomeu FC's goalkeeper Derwin Alcalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Franco Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Ildefonso Bartumeu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilfredo Manilan. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Sant Bartolomeu FC's Claus Cabrera got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Branco FC's Israel Luken made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Derwin Alcalde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sant Bartolomeu FC's Derwin Alcalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Luken in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Israel Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derwin Alcalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sant Bartolomeu FC defense, Fernando Gabrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Derwin Alcalde. The Sant Bartolomeu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derwin Alcalde should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute Tiburcio Cordaryal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derwin Alcalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derwin Alcalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilen Villanueva came free, but Wilfredo Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match Sant Bartolomeu FC got a corner. Branco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Epicuro Doblas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Sant Bartolomeu FC's Epicuro Doblas to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilfredo Manilan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gilen Villanueva hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Branco FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Branco FC made a substitution. Siro Oroitz replaced Esteve Firman. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Luken was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Sant Bartolomeu FC's Derwin Alcalde got control of the ball when Israel Luken tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Gilen Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Tonio to maneuver through the defense. Luar Rapado hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Luar Rapado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sant Bartolomeu FC's Derwin Alcalde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Sant Bartolomeu FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Tiburcio Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sant Bartolomeu FC's Luar Rapado got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Derwin Alcalde acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernando Gabrio. In the 97th minute, Sant Bartolomeu FC's Franco Camacho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Franco Camacho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sant Bartolomeu FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Franco Camacho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Sant Bartolomeu FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Branco FC:s goal. Sant Bartolomeu FC:s Derwin Alcalde showed great skill when he stopped Fernando Gabrio:s penalty. In the 99th minute, Fernando Gabrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derwin Alcalde was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Branco FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
