An unexpectedly hard shot by Achim Schuchter in the 2nd minute of play forced Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Freddie Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spiro Getzov in the 5th minute of play forced Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Aage Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Blue avalanche getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Valcho Avramov hit a great ball. Jean Rehm charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Blue avalanche's Freddie Westerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Blue avalanche from getting a goal against them. After 17 minutes of play, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Niels Laubenburg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddie Westerberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Freddie Westerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Koppenhöfer. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Ostermoordorf's zone, Tihomir Kraynev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aage Weiss came out of the goal and Tihomir Kraynev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Birger Koppenhöfers short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Freddie Westerberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Borussia Ostermoordorf getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Oka Bobbenkamp hit a great ball. Aage Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nykteus Kouches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Birger Koppenhöfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Ostermoordorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Koppenhöfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Freddie Westerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niels Laubenburg. Aage Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nykteus Kouches in the 38th minute of play. Freddie Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Koppenhöfer in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match, Faruk Baumann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Freddie Westerberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tihomir Kraynev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Faruk Baumann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Freddie Westerberg. The goal made the score 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birger Koppenhöfer to strike the kick off in the second half. Freddie Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achim Schuchter in the 57th minute of the match. Niels Laubenburg made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jean Rehm immediately put the ball in play. Freddie Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faruk Baumann, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goal looked a bit too open when Achim Schuchter came free, but Freddie Westerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faruk Baumann charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faruk Baumann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Faruk Baumann kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Nykteus Kouches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nykteus Kouches got free with Aage Weiss in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aage Weiss made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Nykteus Kouches sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Blue avalanche booed when Borussia Ostermoordorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faruk Baumann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blue avalanche's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Trayan Bakúrdzhiev in the 84th minute. The corner led Blue avalanche's Trayan Bakúrdzhiev to fire away a dangerous shot which Aage Weiss despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Freddie Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faruk Baumann in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Spiro Getzov notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Borussia Ostermoordorf's Aage Weiss. Aage Weiss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Borussia Ostermoordorf fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blue avalanche had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
