Gaudencio Eufemio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Dahlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Sauveur kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Vaqueteros FC's Gaudencio Eufemio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Vaqueteros FC from getting a goal against them. Hans Kollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Eufemio having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Tim Sjögren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaqueteros FC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Lite Finare Lite Bättre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Luciano Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Hedman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Hedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Patrido in the 35th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Patrido came free, but Magnus Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Dahlins short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Gaudencio Eufemio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Martin Dahlin had several of the Vaqueteros FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gaudencio Eufemio as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 48 minutes, Ezequiel Rencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaqueteros FC and the Lite Finare Lite Bättre players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute, Ezequiel Rencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Vaqueteros FC's Fabio Galindo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vaqueteros FC's zone, Martin Dahlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Eufemio came out of the goal and Martin Dahlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Dahlin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gaudencio Eufemio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lite Finare Lite Bättre. Magnus Hedman made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Orlando Fanuco sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Chap made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bonifacio Patrido. Magnus Hedman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Cordario went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Magnus Hedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Lite Finare Lite Bättre from getting a goal against them. When Luciano Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vaqueteros FC's protests and gave Luciano Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. Luciano Cordario kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Martin Dahlin got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
