Stoke FF's Måns Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Trac in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Andrzejewski. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Jan Soroka took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Måns Fanström to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Pawel Majewski hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Egon Nyqvist came free, but Eugeniusz Gdowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Egon Nyqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Gdowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Soroka in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Måns Fanström saved Stoke FF from getting behind. Eugeniusz Gdowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Soroka was the one to do the kick off.
