After a defensive mix-up in America FC's zone, Mauro Odon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Pimenta came out of the goal and Mauro Odon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ian Pimenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Odon in the 20th minute. If Gil Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Odon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ian Pimenta made a huge save. Bartolo Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes America FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Romero. After 32 minutes of play, PGE FC's Bartolo Leoiar made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Pimenta was left in no man's land by his defense there! PGE FC's Bartolo Leoiar got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, PGE FC's Virgilio Gauargi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Pimenta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ademar Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Bartolo Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the America FC defense, Virgilio Gauargi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Pimenta. The America FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Pimenta should have stopped the shot. Ian Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ian Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Leoiar in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Negri in the 69th minute of play forced PGE FC's goalkeeper Rolando Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Mauro Odon notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of America FC's Ian Pimenta. Ian Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Mauro Odon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. If Mauro Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bartolo Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. PGE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Leoiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Virgilio Gauargi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. The supporters of America FC booed when PGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PGE FC fully deserved thier win.
