After some careless play in the Asdfgh defense, Sixten Bank kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Erik Bengtsson. The Asdfgh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Erik Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. MDV Mount Eaver's Valter Holmgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save MDV Mount Eaver from getting a goal against them. Dag Hammarskjöld received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valter Holmgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Dag Hammarskjöld slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 30th minute. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Jan-Erik Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Sjödin in the 46th minute of play. Asdfgh's Jan-Erik Bengtsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Bank in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Sjödin to strike the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Asdfgh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, MDV Mount Eaver's Tony Biörkquist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jan-Erik Bengtsson. Ragnar Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Evert Helberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Valter Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Sixten Bank ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Erik Bengtsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. If Ragnar Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
