In the 3rd minute Gilberto Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3 minutes into the match, Gilberto Jakobe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Micael. Pilar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Jakobe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gilberto Jakobe might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Micael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Jakobe ran back to his position shaking his head. Pilar FC's Cirilo Micael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Pilar FC from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Jakobe struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Cirilo Micael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lealtad Futbol Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Jakobe in the 16th minute of play forced Pilar FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pilar FC booed when Lealtad Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Bojarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dove Carrat in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Cuaron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Firmo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Gilberto Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Paolo Lalla hit a great ball. Cirilo Micael made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gilberto Jakobe sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Jakobe got free with Cirilo Micael in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35thth minute of the game Pedro Lluc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lealtad Futbol Club's Emilio Cuaron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pilar FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Lealtad Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Lluc took the corner. The corner ended in Pedro Lluc almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lealtad Futbol Club's Emilio Cuaron did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Jakobe got free with Cirilo Micael in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Artizar in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Cuaron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lealtad Futbol Club's Toro Martínez was substituted for Gilberto Jakobe. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toro Martínez to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Pilar FC defense, Eugenio Bojarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Micael. The Pilar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Micael should have stopped the shot. Cirilo Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Martínez in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Eugenio Bojarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lealtad Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Lealtad Futbol Club's Toro Martínez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lealtad Futbol Club's Iwo Jaszcz was substituted for Eugenio Bojarte. 80 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Martínez came free, but Cirilo Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lealtad Futbol Club's goalkeeper Emilio Cuaron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
