In the 6thth minute of the game Amado Fanta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Vertigo's Gelu Pașcalău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Fanta in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gelu Pașcalău saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. If Fabio Gerbella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Tapia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ştefan Panțuru went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Dumitru Mavrogheni came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nelson Tapia could save by the left post. Amado Fanta might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gelu Pașcalău. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Fanta ran back to his position shaking his head. Dumitru Mavrogheni kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Nechifor Cucerdean charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Cucerdean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Cucerdean. After having played for 31 minutes, Jose Ramon Pinuer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Ramon Pinuer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gelu Pașcalău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Fanta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Tapia made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dumitru Mavrogheni sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Fanta came free, but Gelu Pașcalău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Spartans FC's Nelson Tapia got control of the ball when Dumitru Mavrogheni tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Fanta came free, but Gelu Pașcalău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Nechifor Cucerdean got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. David Giubelean hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Fabio Gerbella in the 63rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gelu Pașcalău kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Amado Fanta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco José Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Pașcalău having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Amado Fanta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gelu Pașcalău. That made the score 1-3 in the 70 minute of play. Amado Fanta kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Club Vertigo's keeper Gelu Pașcalău was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Gabriel Hrean charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Hrean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Hrean hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Amado Fanta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Spartans FC's Jose Ramon Pinuer tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dumitru Mavrogheni's late challenge caught a Spartans FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Mavrogheni helped the player get up and apologised. Dumitru Mavrogheni hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match Jose Ramon Pinuer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Pașcalău skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Riera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's Filip Bocșa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Amado Fanta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Fanta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute of the match Jose Ramon Pinuer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Pașcalău skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Gerbella in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gelu Pașcalău prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Mavrogheni to maneuver through the defense. Gelu Pașcalău was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jose Ramon Pinuer. Spartans FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
