Cai Baardsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Artizar in the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Pedro Lluc notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Laniakea's Cai Baardsen. Cai Baardsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the game, Laniakea's Adam Sandbakken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Micael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 16 minutes into the game, Jo Skinstad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laniakea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilar FC the free kick. In the 16th minute, Jo Skinstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18th play minutes Dove Carrat shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Cai Baardsen and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 22nd minute Eilert Nordlie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Pilar FC's Aaron Anselmino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aaron Anselmino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pilar FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aaron Anselmino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Pilar FC's Aaron Anselmino got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pilar FC's zone, Idar Kvale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Micael came out of the goal and Idar Kvale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirilo Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Sandbakken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Laniakea's corner Øivind Vu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cirilo Micael quite easily take care of the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Eilert Nordlie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cirilo Micael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Laniakea's Adam Sandbakken in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilar FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jo Skinstad kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Pedro Lluc sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Laniakea's Cai Baardsen didn't even have to move. Hans-Erik Osland hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Pedro Artizar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cai Baardsen, 3-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Lalla to strike the kick off in the second half. Laniakea's Cai Baardsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Truylos in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Laniakea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Erik Osland to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Laniakea's Eilert Nordlie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cirilo Micael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Felix Firmo hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Pilar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Lalla to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Eilert Nordlie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. If Paolo Lalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 74 minutes on the clock, Christian Vatland commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 73rd minute, one of Laniakea:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laniakea. The referee gave Pilar FC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Lluc, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Laniakea's Cai Baardsen. 4-2. Hans-Erik Osland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After taking down the ball on Laniakea's corner Idar Kvale fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cirilo Micael quite easily take care of the ball. Cai Baardsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Lalla's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The supporters of Laniakea booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Sandbakken in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Federico Truylos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
