An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Geels in the 5th minute of play forced FC Ringparken's goalkeeper Gynther Birking to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, FC Ringparken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Darnig to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ruud Geels took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gynther Birking to make any attempt to save it. 11 minutes into the match, FC Ringparken's goal looked a bit too open when Niels-Jan Harmens came free, but Gynther Birking reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk-Jan Opdam hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Verwachting's Melvin Borgman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Starkfeld in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Ruud Geels dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gynther Birking, 2-0. Gynther Birking took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels-Jan Harmens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes FC Ringparken got a freekick which was hit by Niels Darnig. 26 minutes into the match, Ruud Geels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gynther Birking. FC Ringparken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruud Geels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Ulrik Guldbert fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ringparken's protests and gave Ulrik Guldbert a yellow card for diving instead. Ulrik Guldbert hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes FC Ringparken got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Guldbert. Gynther Birking made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Theo Zoontjens sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, FC Ringparken's goalkeeper Gynther Birking had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theo Zoontjens. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dani Hilslev to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Verwachting's Han Ostermann made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gynther Birking was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Ringparken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verwachting the free kick. After some careless play in the FC Ringparken defense, Theo Zoontjens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gynther Birking. The FC Ringparken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gynther Birking should have stopped the shot. After 77th play minutes Theo Zoontjens shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Gynther Birking and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 79th minute Han Ostermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gynther Birking saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Verwachting booed when FC Ringparken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micael Heger didn't get a good kick on the ball.
