Dani Hilslev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niels Darnig kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Concetto Bani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Starkfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Calenzano's zone, Gabriel Starkfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Bani came out of the goal and Gabriel Starkfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes, Edoardo Flocco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calenzano and the FC Ringparken players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Calenzano! The goalkeeper, Concetto Bani, was totally fooled by FC Ringparken's Rudolph Beilman, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gynther Birking took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Paolini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gynther Birking didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camillo Paolini went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 33 minutes of play, Calenzano's Cristoforo Albanesi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gynther Birking was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ewald Relinder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Ringparken's Hjalmar Jeppesen was substituted for Niels Darnig. Hjalmar Jeppesen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. FC Ringparken's Gynther Birking played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Paolini in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Camillo Paolini made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Cristoforo Albanesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gynther Birking saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes FC Ringparken got a freekick which was hit by Dani Hilslev. After a rather tough play, FC Ringparken's Dani Hilslev got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, FC Ringparken's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Di Gennaro came free, but Gynther Birking reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camillo Paolini's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gynther Birking firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristoforo Albanesi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Concetto Bani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dani Hilslev in the 82nd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Cristoforo Albanesi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gynther Birking. FC Ringparken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristoforo Albanesi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Gynther Birking made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Paolini in the 91st minute of play. The Calenzano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calenzano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
