Sebastian Debus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prometeo Domenech in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Prometeo Domenech cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sebastian Debus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Debus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leizarraga Balboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christian Schmitzberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabri Topluoz lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. SK Fenerbahce Wien:s Sebastian Debus showed great skill when he stopped Maurin Cabanela:s penalty. When Jo Niggemeyer fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Fenerbahce Wien's protests and gave Jo Niggemeyer a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leizarraga Balboa in the 27th minute of play forced SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Sebastian Debus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Maurin Cabanela came free, but Sebastian Debus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Debus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leizarraga Balboa in the 30th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Maurin Cabanela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 44th match minute, SK Fenerbahce Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Schmitzberger to maneuver through the defense. Egun Montiel, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicholas Oertel to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leizarraga Balboa in the 51st minute of play forced SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Sebastian Debus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurin Cabanela got free with Sebastian Debus in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when David Villa came free, but Sebastian Debus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Nicholas Oertel got a free kick in the 56th minute. Nicholas Oertel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ganix Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Debus made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Maurin Cabanela sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Debus made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Prometeo Domenech sent off a good shot on target. Leizarraga Balboa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Debus came out and tried to block the shot, but Leizarraga Balboa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 78th minute. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Sebastian Debus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Villa in the 81st minute of play. Foguera's Prometeo Domenech was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurin Cabanela in the 90th minute of play forced SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Sebastian Debus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Sebastian Debus got control of the ball when Maurin Cabanela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Debus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Villa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 95 minute of play. The SK Fenerbahce Wien fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Foguera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
