Austin Hazell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douwe Meijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Glenn Westwood reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bas Hoogendorp. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 19th minute, Henley on Thames United's Glenn Westwood dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Austin Hazell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douwe Meijer in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Glenn Westwood fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bas Hoogendorp, passed just outside the right post. Alfred Boland hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Simpson. Austin Hazell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Beuneker, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Bas Hoogendorp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glenn Westwood went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Austin Hazell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey de Boer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Glenn Westwood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bas Hoogendorp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, Vught United's Bas Hoogendorp got control of the ball when Rio Fuller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glenn Westwood to make the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Henley on Thames United's Huey Claydon tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Rio Fuller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bas Hoogendorp. Vught United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rio Fuller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 70th minute, João Vítor Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Beuneker kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If João Vítor Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teun Hofmeester fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vught United's protests and gave Teun Hofmeester a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vught United getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Teun Hofmeester hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Austin Hazell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeffrey de Boer. Bas Hoogendorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Austin Hazell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey de Boer in the 83rd minute of the match. Vught United's Bas Hoogendorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Westwood in the 85th minute of play. During the 86th minute of the match Glenn Westwood completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Glenn Westwood a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
