The referee ignored U. de Tarapacá's protests and gave Sezen Taşkın a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Sezen Taşkın got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Lolo Alveal made a precise shot to the right of Jude Vang. El Canalla de Chicago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Baudelio Abello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jude Vang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lolo Alveal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uriel Diaz Montero having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Lopez came free, but Uriel Diaz Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lolo Alveal in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jude Vang saved El Canalla de Chicago from getting behind. U. de Tarapacá's Lolo Alveal managed to work through El Canalla de Chicago's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lolo Alveal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 30 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Lolo Alveal came free, but Jude Vang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Canalla de Chicago's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sezen Taşkın was slow to take the kick. During this time U. de Tarapacá's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sezen Taşkın got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jude Vang quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, El Canalla de Chicago's Uriel Diaz Montero threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daron Davidson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 39 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Baudelio Abello. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Lopez during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Lopez to maneuver through the defense.

Uriel Diaz Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Davidson in the 52nd minute of the match. Lolo Alveal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jude Vang made a huge save. Lolo Alveal struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jude Vang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. U. de Tarapacá made a substitution. Juan José J.J. replaced Romeo Bermúdez. 68 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Pendleton came free, but Uriel Diaz Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Leobardo in the 70th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Uriel Diaz Montero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Domingo Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Diaz Montero. Uriel Diaz Montero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Leobardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Lolo Alveal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Vang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jude Vang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan José J.J. in the 81st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Juan José J.J. notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of El Canalla de Chicago's Jude Vang. Jude Vang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U. de Tarapacá eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
