In the 2nd match minute, Sporting Royal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Predescu to maneuver through the defense. Leontin Ilieș made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Walmir Pontes sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th play minute Walmir Pontes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leontin Ilieș. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bum-Kun Kun during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Royal's Bum-Kun Kun got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Walmir Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmir Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Walmir Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Ilieș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cosme Cimbron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Royal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Cimbron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leontin Ilieș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Pontes in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Pontes in the 23rd minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Gherasescu came free, but Luís Fernando Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Cimbron kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Panciu in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Pontes got free with Leontin Ilieș in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Walmir Pontes sped through Sporting Royal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leontin Ilieș. Betinho Romagnoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmir Pontes took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leontin Ilieș. Leontin Ilieș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Betinho Romagnoli to make the kick off. Sporting Royal's Leontin Ilieș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Pontes in the 52nd minute of play. Bum-Kun Kun hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Sporting Royal's Damian Crăciun was substituted for Acácio Cunha. In the 61st match minute, Sporting Royal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bum-Kun Kun to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Walmir Pontes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sporting Royal's Leontin Ilieș. Leontin Ilieș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Paulinho Ferreira replaced Silvério Velloso. When Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Betinho Romagnoli in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Royal's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Sporting Royal's goal looked a bit too open when Dmitry Ilyushin came free, but Leontin Ilieș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Dmitry Ilyushin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leontin Ilieș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leontin Ilieș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dmitry Ilyushin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Panciu in the 74th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Sporting Royal got a freekick which was hit by Bum-Kun Kun. Leontin Ilieș came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Dmitry Ilyushin. But to his dismay, Dmitry Ilyushin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Dmitry Ilyushin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leontin Ilieș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Sporting Royal's Alin Dragalina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luís Fernando Pirani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Dmitry Ilyushin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leontin Ilieș was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Dmitry Ilyushin succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Merusca F&P - CIMZ fully deserved thier win.
