Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgil Panciu started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Sporting Royal booed when Goianésia E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Alin Dragalina from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Elder da Silva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 9 minutes into the match, Sporting Royal's Virgil Panciu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elder da Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leontin Ilieș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Gol in the 11th minute of the match. Virgil Panciu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Sporting Royal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Octavian Gherasescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 played minutes Octavian Gherasescu rounded Goianésia E.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When Virgil Panciu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sporting Royal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Panciu couldn't finish the play. Elder da Silva came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Royal's Virgil Panciu. But to his dismay, Virgil Panciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Virgil Panciu had several of the Goianésia E.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Elder da Silva as he didn't even see the shot coming. Virgil Panciu struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Elder da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Royal. In the 41st minute, Cosme Cimbron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elder da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgil Panciu's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabi Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Cimbron in the 57th minute of play forced Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Elder da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Goianésia E.C got a freekick which was hit by Diego Almeida. After a rather tough play, Sporting Royal's Marcu Ploieșteanu got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Hortêncio Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goianésia E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elder da Silva came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Royal's Hermes Soveral. But to his dismay, Hermes Soveral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Diego Almeida hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The Sporting Royal fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Sporting Royal's Virgil Panciu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th minute, Virgil Panciu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Royal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Virgil Panciu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Elder da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Royal. Dagoberto Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Goianésia E.C defense, Virgil Panciu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder da Silva. The Goianésia E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder da Silva should have stopped the shot.
