But to his dismay, Sérgio das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 20 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Sérgio das Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siro Elia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 25 minutes into the match, Sérgio das Neves notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Rocco FC's Siro Elia. Siro Elia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio das Neves in the 29th minute of play forced Rocco FC's goalkeeper Siro Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Sérgio das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Guillelme was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio das Neves got free with Siro Elia in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Walmir Pontes replaced Sérgio das Neves. Fabinho Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Samuel Chale hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Walmir Pontes sped through Rocco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Siro Elia. With an all-out effort, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Siro Elia threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Walmir Pontes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
