When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Iustin Chificeac put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arkadiusz Barniszke. Szymon Bugajski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Vlad Anghel made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Iustin Chificeac made a precise shot to the right of Arkadiusz Barniszke. FC Barcelona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 24th minute, Zbyszko Falk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcu Voitiş scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arkadiusz Barniszke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Napoleon Naujasodis fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Napoleon Naujasodis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Napoleon Naujasodis hit a great ball. Liviu Ciolacu charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liviu Ciolacu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Ciolacu to maneuver through the defense. Korneliusz Pawlak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klement Gonsiewski made a kick off. Vlad Anghel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Pawlak, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 58 minutes into the game, MIT's Iustin Chificeac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arkadiusz Barniszke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Zbyszko Falk hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Iustin Chificeac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Bugajski came free, but Vlad Anghel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, FC Barcelona's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcu Voitiş fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arkadiusz Barniszke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Chificeac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustin Chificeac received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arkadiusz Barniszke came out and tried to block the shot, but Iustin Chificeac slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Bulă came free, but Arkadiusz Barniszke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Barcelona's Arkadiusz Barniszke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Chificeac in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Iustin Chificeac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Chificeac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iustin Chificeac took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkadiusz Barniszke. Arkadiusz Barniszke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The FC Barcelona supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MIT's performance. The match ended with a win for MIT.
