Jacinto Sanson ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Sanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Jacinto Sanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Tab got free with Valdir Pérez in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdir Pérez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Jacinto Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falconara Albanese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Sanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Vladimir Motta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Falconara Albanese's Raimundo Domingues quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to União Verde FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gil Paiva hit a great ball. Valdir Pérez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raimundo Domingues. After a rather tough play, Falconara Albanese's Maximino Eleder got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jacinto Sanson scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Pérez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Vladimir Motta in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Falconara Albanese's Raimundo Domingues. With a little luck, União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez got control of the ball when Raimundo Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falconara Albanese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raimundo Domingues in the 42nd minute. Jacinto Sanson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdir Pérez having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Valdir Pérez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Valdir Pérez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Sanson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Falconara Albanese's Raimundo Domingues managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bebeto de Salles in the 59 minute of the game. After 65 minutes, Marcos Tercero made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimir Motta made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Falconara Albanese's Raimundo Domingues. Valdir Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Tercero in the 71st minute of the match. Marcos Tercero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Tercero struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Valdir Pérez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falconara Albanese. After some careless play in the União Verde FC defense, Marcos Tercero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. The União Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Pérez should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Tab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Marcos Tercero sped through União Verde FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Marcos Tercero put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Pérez. After some careless play in the União Verde FC defense, Marcos Tercero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. The União Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Pérez should have stopped the shot.
