With a little luck, INTER's Sotos Delioridis got control of the ball when Rungrueng Rau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theodosis Kasselakis struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Bozhin Palakarchev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER. 12 minutes into the match, INTER's goal looked a bit too open when Rungrueng Rau came free, but Sotos Delioridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zlatko Stumbovs short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Sotos Delioridis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 22 minutes, Zlatko Stumbov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knights Templar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zlatko Stumbov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, INTER's Theodosis Kasselakis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Roch Fedosz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knights Templar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roch Fedosz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theodosis Kasselakis's late challenge caught a Knights Templar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theodosis Kasselakis helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes INTER got a freekick which was hit by Theodosis Kasselakis. With an all-out effort, Knights Templar's Sotos Delioridis threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sava Dodov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 39 minutes of play, Knights Templar's Zlatko Stumbov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sotos Delioridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th play minute Zlatko Stumbov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sotos Delioridis. 3-0. Sotos Delioridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rungrueng Rau, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zlatko Stumbov was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Acho Gergishanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, INTER's goal looked a bit too open when Rungrueng Rau came free, but Sotos Delioridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rungrueng Rau charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rungrueng Rau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute Rungrueng Rau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sotos Delioridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotos Delioridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Stumbov, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The Knights Templar fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Knights Templar's Zlatko Stumbov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sava Dodov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markos Kalabalikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bozhin Palakarchev having to interfere. Rungrueng Rau kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Sotos Delioridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Stumbov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes INTER got a freekick which was hit by Lakis Kavazis. INTER's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
