The crowd rose to their feet as Kaká Paes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcu Loghin. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Habilirows's goal looked a bit too open when Costică Vărzaru came free, but Renato Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Gorcea to maneuver through the defense. Marcu Loghin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Kaká Paes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Delphine Stars's Marcu Loghin. Marcu Loghin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcu Loghin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Paes in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Denis Nenciu hit a great ball. Delphine Stars's Marcu Loghin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Delphine Stars from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaká Paes got free with Marcu Loghin in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Mugur Gorcea put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Renato Braga. In the 28th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Tiberiu to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Paes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcu Loghin came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaká Paes slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute Kaká Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Loghin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Habilirows got a corner. Delphine Stars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Vidal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Flávio Siqueira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-1 in the 40th playminute. Renato Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Nenciu in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's Costică Vărzaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renato Braga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcu Loghin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flávio Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Marcu Loghin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Siqueira in the 57th minute of the match. Delphine Stars's Marcu Loghin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Paes in the 60th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Kaká Paes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delphine Stars's Marcu Loghin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Habilirows booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Ţăranu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Flávio Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Habilirows's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Loghin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Giovanni Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Habilirows's protests and gave Giovanni Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. Giovanni Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Aurelian Ţăranu's late challenge caught a Habilirows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelian Ţăranu helped the player get up and apologised.
