Fernandinho Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Falcão Gaspar was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Fernandinho Urbano sped through Bandeirinha AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodoro Meireles.
