Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernandinho Urbano started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Hudson Sabóia. After 8 played minutes, Bar Marconi United's Andrea Ranalli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romeu Souto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bar Marconi United reached it. After a rather tough play, Bar Marconi United's Fulvio Gerola got a free kick in the 9th minute. Fernandinho Urbano struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gilberto Angelucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians. Corinthians's Fernandinho Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Hudson Sabóia in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bar Marconi United's Ferdinando Tullo. Gilberto Angelucci was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vladimir Soares. In the 26th minute, Costin Alucai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bar Marconi United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edmílson Matorin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Romeu Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Di Mascio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Costin Alucai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Romeu Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Gerola made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Corinthians's Hudson Sabóia. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Jardel Mineiro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Hudson Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hudson Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Luís Fernando Guedes got a free kick in the 45th minute. Bar Marconi United's Carmine Di Mascio got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Bar Marconi United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmine Di Mascio was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Romeu Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Alucai in the 52nd minute. Costin Alucai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Romeu Souto firmly grabbed it by the left post. 56 minutes into the game, Fulvio Gerola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bar Marconi United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthians the free kick. Costin Alucai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Costin Alucai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64thth minute of the game Fernandinho Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bar Marconi United's Gilberto Angelucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Gilberto Angelucci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Corinthians's Fernandinho Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Angelucci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Fernandinho Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Di Mascio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Souto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Costin Alucai could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Romeu Souto however easily saved by the left post. Romeu Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Alucai in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmílson Matorin during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Edmílson Matorin got a free kick in the 86th minute. Carmine Di Mascio's late challenge caught a Corinthians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine Di Mascio helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Bar Marconi United got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Di Mascio. Carmine Di Mascio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bar Marconi United were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
