The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Gol in the 2nd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper Amílton Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepe Bomba. When Pepe Bomba fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Beatriz 08's protests and gave Pepe Bomba a yellow card for diving instead. Pepe Bomba kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Poetass FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Raí Massa hit a great ball. The referee gave Poetass FC a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dani Portillo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira. 0-2. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Sid Gol put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Abel Meira. FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Messias in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to FC Beatriz 08 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Álvaro Semedo hit a great ball. In the 34th match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Quadros to maneuver through the defense. When Deivid Quadros fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poetass FC's protests and gave Deivid Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. 36 minutes in the game, Oso Cienfuegos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amílton Paraíba having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sid Gol in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Meira saved FC Beatriz 08 from getting behind. In the 49th minute Poetass FC were awarded a corner. Deivid Quadros went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Poetass FC's corner Deivid Quadros fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abel Meira quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pepe Bomba to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Deivid Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Pepe Bomba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amílton Paraíba was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Sid Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Abel Meira made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pepe Bomba in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Paraíba saved Poetass FC from getting behind. Jiang Yan Feng charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jiang Yan Feng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jiang Yan Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sid Gol in the 69th minute of play forced FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper Abel Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He Yue Feng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Amílton Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's Márcio Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílton Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amílton Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Yan Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when FC Beatriz 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Semedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Messias in the 85th minute of play. Sid Gol in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abel Meira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Poetass FC were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after FC Beatriz 08's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Deivid Quadros took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Júnior Sabóia managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Márcio Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Beatriz 08's Pepe Bomba got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandrinho Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sid Gol in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abel Meira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
