Betão de Amaral was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Dömötör Szűcs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dömötör Szűcs really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Frederico Gomes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Endre Fenyvesi. Batéi Félreértés LC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederico Gomes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. György Győri kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Batéi Félreértés LC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Valentin Urbán hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Frederico Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Endre Fenyvesi. Batéi Félreértés LC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Luís Sampaio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Endre Fenyvesi saved Batéi Félreértés LC from getting behind. Frederico Gomes took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Endre Fenyvesi. Endre Fenyvesi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Endre Fenyvesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Sampaio in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nilmar do Valle hit a great ball. Betão de Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from János Czene went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Endre Fenyvesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Batéi Félreértés LC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.E. Cachoeirinha were winning 2-3.

Sílvio Luís Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When György Győri fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batéi Félreértés LC's protests and gave György Győri a yellow card for diving instead. Frederico Gomes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Endre Fenyvesi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 70th minute of the match, Dorival Veloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Endre Fenyvesi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Batéi Félreértés LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. György Győri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Veloso in the 79th minute of play forced Batéi Félreértés LC's goalkeeper Endre Fenyvesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
