The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frederico Gomes kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Lions Levice's keeper Li Wei Nan was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 4 minutes FC Lions Levice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nilmar do Valle who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dorival Veloso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Lions Levice's Li Wei Nan did a great save. 8 minutes into the match, FC Lions Levice's goalkeeper Li Wei Nan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico Gomes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Recife during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Zé Recife got a free kick in the 11th minute. Frederico Gomes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Li Wei Nan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Dorival Veloso made a precise shot to the right of Li Wei Nan. FC Lions Levice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Božok in the 18th minute of the match. Betão de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Tischler in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, FC Lions Levice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Gedeon to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Gomess short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Li Wei Nan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of FC Lions Levice booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Tischler in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavol Hospodár was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Lions Levice's players had a chance to rest. Pavol Hospodár made a great header on FC Lions Levice's corner, it was just that S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral managed to reach the ball for a save. Betão de Amaral came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lions Levice's Wang Si Fei. But to his dismay, Wang Si Fei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 46 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar do Valle. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Daniel Tischler managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lions Levice's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Tischler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wang Si Fei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Dorival Veloso got a free kick in the 54th minute. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Si Fei in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Božok got free with Betão de Amaral in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Lions Levice's Daniel Tischler was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Li Wei Nan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72ndth minute of the game Frederico Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lions Levice's Li Wei Nan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Dorival Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Wei Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Edinho Mello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lions Levice the free kick. In the 81st minute, Edinho Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Lions Levice's Li Wei Nan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Gomes in the 86th minute of play. Nilmar do Valle's late challenge caught a FC Lions Levice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilmar do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Nilmar do Valle got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Tischler got free with Betão de Amaral in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Wang Si Fei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão de Amaral came out of the goal and Wang Si Fei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Daniel Tischler came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Lions Levice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Tischler couldn't finish the play. FC Lions Levice's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
