In the 16th minute Tony Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chepe Velis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Overal Peru getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dolfos Galdamez hit a great ball. Chepe Velis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio França in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Overal Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolfos Galdamez to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Barquerin in the 24th minute of the match. Chepe Velis made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Cássio França sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 30 in the game by Cássio França from a close distance when the talented Chepe Velis managed to make a qualified save. Overal Peru's players were relieved. Overal Peru's Chepe Velis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio França in the 35th minute of play. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cássio França made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Barquerin in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan da Fonseca saved CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio França in the 66th minute of play forced Overal Peru's goalkeeper Chepe Velis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Overal Peru defense, Cássio França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chepe Velis. The Overal Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chepe Velis should have stopped the shot. If Túlio Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Dolfos Galdamez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Overal Peru got a freekick which was hit by Txema Cerredo. Chepe Velis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio França in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Cássio França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chepe Velis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 88 minutes into the match, Overal Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio França came free, but Chepe Velis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chepe Velis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio França in the 93rd minute of the match. Chepe Velis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txema Cerredo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Tony Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
