The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when Overal Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Truylos Ureta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Cuervo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Overal Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Cuervo to maneuver through the defense. When Txema Cerredo fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Overal Peru's protests and gave Txema Cerredo a yellow card for diving instead. Traian Roşu's late challenge caught a Overal Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Traian Roşu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Roşu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Overal Peru's Chepe Velis got control of the ball when Mircea Isvoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chepe Velis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Paulescu's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Barquerin in the 36th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Isac Cozmâncă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Filip Paulescu in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Overal Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Paulescu in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chepe Velis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 50th minute, Fonso Villagarcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Filip Paulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Chepe Velis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Virgil Dragalina hit a great ball. Filip Paulescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chepe Velis having to make a save. Isac Cozmâncă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Barquerin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Overal Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Paulescu came free, but Chepe Velis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nichifor Vergulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Chepe Velis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filip Paulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Augustin Nechifor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chepe Velis. Overal Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Nechifor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 95 minutes into the match, Overal Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Paulescu came free, but Chepe Velis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chepe Velis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Paulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the FC Steaua Pildesti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
