The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Purcaresti CSS. 18 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Isac Cozmâncă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantin Negru. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Iorgu in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Hizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Valeriu Amurăriței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeriu Amurăriței kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

52 minutes into the game, Constantin Negru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Isac Cozmâncă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 54th minute Constantin Negru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Cozmâncă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Iorgu in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Hizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Eusebiu Stancu got a free kick in the 59th minute. Valer Cobâlcescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Negru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isac Cozmâncă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu, in the 75th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Steaua Pildesti. Ionuț Gane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Cozmâncă having to interfere. Valeriu Amurăriței got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when Purcaresti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Amurăriței didn't get a good kick on the ball. Purcaresti CSS's Romeo Hizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Paulescu in the 84th minute of play. Costin Iorgu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Hizo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Augustin Nechifor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Hizo having to interfere. If Cezar Novăceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Dorin Georgescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantin Negru's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantin Negru helped the player get up and apologised. Constantin Negru hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Many of FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Steaua Pildesti may have spent more time on the ball, but Purcaresti CSS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
