Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Fontenot started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Nicky Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Eusebio Urtats put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. 9 minutes into the match, Alfredo Eli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Fontenot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Marcus Rush made a precise shot to the right of Godfredo Ted. C.A. Delo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Patrick Fontenot could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Godfredo Ted however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th minute Nicky Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Fontenot got free with Godfredo Ted in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Robustiano Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Patrick Fontenot dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Godfredo Ted, 4-3. Godfredo Ted didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Fontenot went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. When Patrick Fontenot came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cosmos Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Fontenot couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Eli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C.A. Delo's Godfredo Ted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Rush in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute Patrick Fontenot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Ted came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot. But to his dismay, Patrick Fontenot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Patricio Gilesindo put in a rough tackle. In the 63rd minute, one of C.A. Delo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. Delo. Nicky Cavazos scored 8-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Ted, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brian Mendoza took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Ted. Godfredo Ted dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-3. Godfredo Ted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Cavazos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Delo's Godfredo Ted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Fontenot in the 79th minute of play. Godfredo Ted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Flynn in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. Delo's Vladimiro Madeo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Godfredo Ted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Cavazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Godfredo Ted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot in the 85th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot made it 10-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Ted was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimiro Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Godfredo Ted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot in the 93rd minute of play. The throw-in from Emanuel Novak in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A. Delo's Eusebio Urtats. Cosmos Soccer Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
