HuaHin City's Adisai Yotarit got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The HuaHin City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tawan Limnapapawan should have stopped the shot. Joris Klaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tawan Limnapapawan having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paiboon Sirikeartkumjorn to make the kick off. With 69 minutes on the clock, Wayne Mesmaeckers commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Apricis Bruxella:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jorg Leenders had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Adisai Yotarit's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kanawut Ratthayanant's late challenge caught a Apricis Bruxella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kanawut Ratthayanant helped the player get up and apologised. Nithiphat Sangsoon kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Apricis Bruxella got a freekick which was hit by Tjorven Eekhout. HuaHin City's Tawan Limnapapawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjorven Eekhout in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Apricis Bruxella's Joris Klaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the HuaHin City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
