Jorg Leenders had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Marco Fabelo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. During the 42nd minute of the match Marcus Jennes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcus Jennes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Fabelo got free with Jorg Leenders in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
