Federico Fernandez hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mario Neumann managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Eisenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Neumann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Urtzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Lange came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bastian Abel could save by the left post. Ignacio Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Abelmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, FC Eisenberg's André Abelmann made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Urtzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juniors FC's Ignacio Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Peters in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Mario Neumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes FC Eisenberg got a freekick which was hit by Apollo Schönbucher. Humberto Lange blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bastian Abel having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Lange got free with Bastian Abel in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41stth minute of the game Humberto Lange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Peters came free, but Ignacio Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Tadeo Suarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juniors FC and the FC Eisenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, one of Juniors FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juniors FC. The referee gave FC Eisenberg a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by André Abelmann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Juniors FC's Ignacio Urtzi. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Lange in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juniors FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Segio in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Ihazintu in the 56th minute of play forced FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bastian Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Lange in the 58th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Humberto Lange sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bastian Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute Mario Neumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Ricardo Baleren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Bastian Abel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ricardo Baleren came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Juniors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Baleren couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Mario Neumann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacio Urtzi. Juniors FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Neumann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. When the match was over FC Eisenberg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juniors FC throughout the match.
