Avgust Ilkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Young went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute Peter Pennant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgust Ilkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CSKA-LULIN getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Borimir Pergelov hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Kelvin Eyre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgust Ilkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Peter Pennant made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avgust Ilkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Eyre in the 18th minute of play forced CSKA-LULIN's goalkeeper Avgust Ilkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the CSKA-LULIN defense, Alan Young kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avgust Ilkov. The CSKA-LULIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avgust Ilkov should have stopped the shot. Des Boston made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CSKA-LULIN's Elin Kalenderov. CSKA-LULIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Pennant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 31st minute, Harvey Bowler made a precise shot to the right of Avgust Ilkov. CSKA-LULIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Young in the 36th minute of play forced CSKA-LULIN's goalkeeper Avgust Ilkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borimir Pergelov hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Alan Young managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Foxes Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Young was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivo Razsukanov to strike the kick off in the second half. Avgust Ilkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Pennant in the 51st minute. A collision led to CSKA-LULIN getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Antoan Simeonovski hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Peter Pennant made a precise shot to the right of Avgust Ilkov. CSKA-LULIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Leicester Foxes Academy made a substitution. Tod Noble replaced Harvey Bowler. Avgust Ilkov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alan Young showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 65 minute of play. CSKA-LULIN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Tod Noble scored to the left of an out of position Avgust Ilkov, making the score, 0-12. After 75 played minutes, CSKA-LULIN's Elin Kalenderov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Graeme McLise came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CSKA-LULIN reached it. After a rather tough play, CSKA-LULIN's Antoan Simeonovski got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jez Alcock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avgust Ilkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Young in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Noble in the 80th minute of play forced CSKA-LULIN's goalkeeper Avgust Ilkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Young got free with Avgust Ilkov in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Jez Alcock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leicester Foxes Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. In the 87th minute, Leicester Foxes Academy's Des Boston ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Avgust Ilkov. Avgust Ilkov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. 90 minutes into the match, Jez Alcock notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of CSKA-LULIN's Avgust Ilkov. Avgust Ilkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Avgust Ilkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelvin Eyre in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Borimir Pergelov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avgust Ilkov came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Foxes Academy's Tod Noble. But to his dismay, Tod Noble quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Leicester Foxes Academy played a much better game than CSKA-LULIN and deserved their victory. The CSKA-LULIN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
